Donate to support Jamaica’s Queer Doll Ball
Jun
-Dec
In a world that tries to erase us, queer Jamaicans are definitely dancing, voguing and thriving. We’re raising funds to host the Doll Ball which creates a safe, affirming space for LGBTQ+ folks in Jamaica. With your help we can cover the venue, security, travel and other expenses making the ball a reality. This is your chance to make an investment in liberation, visibility, and unapologetic queer joy.

EVENT – ART EXHIBITION
"Finding Alignment": A 2025 Solo Exhibition by Afrocentric Keyy
July
11-12
"Afrocentric Keyy is dedicated to highlighting the ecological and cultural significance of materials and representation in contemporary art. By repurposing reclaimed wood, Afrocentric Keyy transforms “trash into treasure,” reflecting organic life and shared DNA, while addressing the lack of diversity in fine art oil portraiture. Crafting unique Afro-Realism portraits that celebrate Black people while incorporating animal and floral elements. Each piece tells a layered story, breathing new life into materials with their own histories, and creating meaningful connections between the artwork and its viewers.
These vibrant, eco-conscious portraits inspire engagement and dialogue, addressing themes of identity, resilience, and beauty within the African, African American, Afro-Caribbean, and Afro-Latino diasporas. Afrocentric Keyy’s work goes beyond aesthetics, aiming to spark emotions and initiate conversations around sustainability, representation, and the untold narratives of the Black experience."
